More than one way to skin a cat...

Ok, I finally got my room clean. One might be so bold as to question what that has to do with shaved felines. Well I have two and a third just jointed them [1*]. To explain in more detail, I first have to establish that when I first moved into this apartment, I bought a really nice vacuum. Lately it has been misbehaving in that it looks like it is vacuuming, but it seems to be nothing more than an illusion. Well I finally figured out why. I got frustrated when my black oriental throw was nothing more than a sickly shade of grey and decided to pull apart the vacuum.

I ended up pulling roughly 1 FE [2*] worth of cat hair from the tube, another 1 FE worth of cat hair from a smaller tube that connects the surface thingy and the filters, and another 2 FE worth of cat hair from the rug itself. I now have a fully functioning vacuum and a clean room.

Now I have to decide if I want to tackle the living room tonight or not.

[1*] I have no direct evidence that she is in any way a contributor to my cat hair problem as she seems to be stuck under my housemate's bed.
[2*] 1 FE is to be defined as approximately the amount of cat hair you would get if you shaved the average adult, fully grown cat[3*]. Bonus points if you can figure out what FE stands for. I will give you a hint, it is not FEline though the F does stand for Feline.
[3*] For those who would question whether I am speaking of an adult long or short hair cat, I stand by my statement of average adult, fully grown cat. For anyone who questions my ability to know what I would get if I shaved all the cats in the world and divided by that number. I point out the wonderful approximately in the front of the definition that takes care of just that.

Ah..... The joys of owning a cat.... As for my feline... he has shed enough around that house so it looks like a colony of tribbles....

Note: I need to vaccum the house before we become overcome with tribbles....
